Referred, as the land of Agas. Kargil is sprawled over an area of 14,086 sq. kms and is situated at a distance of 205 kms from Srinagar towards Leh.

The town of Kargil was a part of Gilgit-Baltistan before 1947, but is now administratively part of Ladakh in Indian-controlled Kashmir. Kargil lies on the line of control facing Pakistan-controlled Kashmir.

Jammu, also called as the Duggar land rests in the foothills of Himalayas. It is broadly divisible into three distinct zones dogged by the territory stipulation and the geo-climatic atmosphere.

The Bahu Mata is the deity of Jammu residing alongside the dargah of Peer Budhan Ali Shah. The other major tourist attraction is the Raghunath Temple Complex. In addition to this, destinations such as Katra, Patnitop, Sanasar, Mansar Lake and Amar Mahal reside in the region.

Resting at a distance of 112 kms from Jammu in the Gulmarg valley, Patnitop is a popular Tourist Destination in Jammu and Kashmir.

Positioned at an altitude of 2025 m across the Jammu-Srinagar highway.The already big 6 hole Golf Course in being extended to 9 holes while the trekking tracks from Patnitop to other nearby places are being constructed with full enthusiasm.

Wullar lake
Drawing water from the northern river of Jhelum, the place is at a distance of 60 kms from Srinagar. Said to be the largest fresh water Lake in the India, the Wullar Lake extends upto 24 kms in length and 10 kms in breadth.

Situated between Bandipore and Sopore, the centre of the Lake is home to a small island of Zaina Lank that was constructed by famous King Zainul-Abi-Din.

Kishtwar
Located at a distance of 216 kms from Jammu is the Doda district, Kishtwar is small but beautiful district in the state. Enveloped by high mountains and resting just above the Chenab River, the region is flanked by the Nagin Sheer glacier.

The Ziarat Asrar-ud-Din Sahib shrine is located in Kishtwar. The popular tourist attraction of the place is the sapphire mines at Paddar.
